Weekend Sales!

Hey guys! I hope you had a great weekend full of cha-chings!! Mine was pretty standard, nothing to exciting. I did get about 50 things listed and lots of pictures taken. I've only got about half a tub left of stuff to photograph from my bins trip last week.

Saturday I sold 9 items totaling $135

Sunday I sold 14 items for $275

It really feels like I've been grinding away these last few days. I can't wait to get a big sale! My numbers are all evened out though, so I am thankful for these bread and butter days!

My goal this month is to hit $6,000. So far I've sold 189 for $3,177 which is right on track. I do plan on doing a monthly report at the end of the month to show my gross net after shipping, fees & cost of goods.

Anyways, I'm off to listing land! Tomorrow is a trip to the bins so I'll share my goodies with you guys tomorrow night!

  2. Thanks. Doing great on the sales and love the blog!

I'm curious what are you preferred methods of shipping items, and noticed that all of your items include free shipping. Most clothing items such as tops or pants cost me between $5.85 and $8.00 to ship, am I doing something wrong?

    1. Wow that's high! What method are you using that your spending $5.85- $8 to ship clothes? I'd love to hear Nicoles response as well but I sell clothes too and do free.shipping and Most tops are lightweight and can ship for $2.49 - $3.49 first class mail in a padded polymailer. For pants some are light and can ship under $4.99 first class but for jeans or if 1lb+ I always ship them.in a flat rate padded envelope for $5.70. I even fit blazers..sweaters etc in those too. If too bulky then of course youll need to use a box. If over 3lbs I check Regional A Priority Mail Box Prices as well often theyre are cheaper. You can get everything free from post office online. I fold all my clothes neatly and first put them in a clear plastic seal bag looks nice for presentation :)

    2. Basically I do exactly what Jen says, everything goes first class or padded flat rate with the few exceptions like heavy coats that go into a medium flat rate. Most of my items cost under $3 to ship. Everything goes into a polymailer bag, even if I put it into a flat rate :)
