Daily Sales + Branching Out

Today was fun! I woke up early and got a few listings done, then I noticed that there was a very large children's consignment sale happening a few blocks from my house. Normally these sales are cleared out before they even open to the general public but I thought why not give it a try! I was right for the most part but I did find two Disney Princess (Mulan & Aurora) "wardrobe & friends" sets new in the box.

When I looked them up I was shocked to see Mulan had just sold for $63!!! I grabbed them both for $14 total and already have them listed for $90!

Then I came home and did shipping, while cruising Facebook I saw a mom had a huge tub of plush for $20. I could see some Jellycat and Pottery Barn so I made arrangements to grab it.

There are a lot of organic loovies and a few new with tags, my return should be between $200-$300!! I never thought I'd be on the look out for plush but it might just be my new favorite thing! I actually just stole a Build a Bead shark puppet off my daughters bed to list, it goes for $40 and she doesn't care about it!

On to the numbers!

Yesterday I sold 5 items for $100. Slow and steady!

Nothing to exciting, I listed the Paige jeans and they sold within a couple hours via Global Shipping Program.

I'm going to focus on getting all my new plush friends listed tonight, I'll report back tomorrow.

  1. So you get a lot of International Orders? I ship internationally but not thru Global Shipping..I do my own shipping. However I don't get a lot of international sales. Just wondered if global shipping increases that. I never cared for it due to all the complaints on the eBay forum.

  2. I need advice. I'd love for you to look at my store. I have some really nice items and would like to know why I'm not selling. Am I pricing it too high? I've worked in fashion both retail and corporate so I know how to pull great clothes. I also go for more of the look of the garment not necessarily the bran name. Thoughts?

  4. Question. I ran into your blog and I also do ebay but not full time. I noticed you sell items that normally I would pas up due to profit margins. Since you do free shipping on all your items, how much from a average day is spent in S&H? Example say you do $125 in sales is it fair to say that $45 of that is shipping so you profit maybe 80 clear? Just wondering as I need to get my sales up but dont want to cut out profits with to much giveaway in shipping

  6. You should look up the Yo gabba gabba plush as well as some of the others on Amazon. If you haven't looked into selling plush on Amazon, you should. I get 3-4x the price on Amazon FBA that I would on Ebay. I love selling plush too!
