Daily Sales

It was a slow few days, yesterday at lunch I had a little panic "why have I only made $30 today?!" Then suddenly a wave of sales happened late afternoon! Two of my biggest sellers yesterday where sold within 6 hours of listing. I sold 9 things total:

My biggest sale of the day was a pair of Eileen Fisher pants, this brand always does well for me. These pants where my very last find of the day at the bins on Saturday and they sold within hours of listing for $65!!

Another mention is this Moon Collection sweater, it sold for $30 the same day I listed it. I found it at the bins last week, I was waiting for a new row of bins to come out and saw it on the top of a bin that was already crowed around. I immediately ran over but couldn't get to it! Turns out no one wanted it and I was able to grab it once the crowed cleared. 

This is my last week of work and I really need to list at least 300 more items, I took a ton of pictures this weekend and plan to us all my downtime listing. The handy thing about having them on my phone is I can list anytime! Tonight's goal is to get 30 out, I'll report back tomorrow! 

Here We Go!

Times are changing here at the State household, big news: I quit my job! There's multiple reasons behind this decision but one thing it means it I'm going full time on eBay. I'm consistently getting questions about how I do what I do and this will be a place to answer those and hopefully help a few of you get on a journey of freedom. I also need to have a place where I keep tract of my goals and hold myself accountable, I will be posting daily and weekly numbers as well as hauls and how to's.

This week was pretty crazy, Yesterday I spent about 3 hours at the Goodwill Outlet, aka the bins, I don't normally like to go on Saturdays but it had to happen that way this week. Usually when I go Saturdays are insane, I can't push my cart down an isle and people are everywhere. Yesterday I went around 5 pm and it was glorious!! New bins would come out and I would have one all to myself, it doesn't get better than that. I picked up 87 pieces for a total of $56, making it 66 cents an item.

The clothes around the mannequin are my newest finds, lots of Anthropologie!

This week has been slow, I like to hit $1,000 a week and I'm way behind. All I can do is keep listing and hope that everything evens out. My goal is to list 300 more items by the end of the month. I currently have 227 active items with 156 sold for the month of September. 

My highest items sold this week was actually my husbands old bullet belt, $51

I have one last week working a corporate job and then I'll be full time ebay, I'm only putting part time hours in now so the sky is the limit!
